Apartment For Sale in Paris 3rd (Haut Marais- rue de Bretagne)

Paris 3rd – In the heart of the Marais district, a stone’s throw from the Picasso Museum, this 108 m2 duplex apartment occupies the 4th floor (accessible by stairs) of a historic building.

Redesigned by an architect, it combines exposed beams, original parquet flooring, and bespoke creations in a luminous composition with distinctive accents.

Upon entering, the rooms open onto a double living room with a 2.70 m high ceiling, punctuated by seven windows and triple exposure. The living room is distinguished from the open-plan kitchen and dining area by a structure of original beams, which creates a subtle separation while maintaining the overall flow. The kitchen cabinetry is clad in gray wood veneer from ALPI’s iconic Designer collection, designed by Ettore Sottsass. Light floods the rooms throughout the day and reveals the original parquet flooring.

This first level also includes a bedroom, an office, a bathroom featuring a remarkable Carlo Scarpa floor, and a separate toilet. A custom-made wrought-iron structure, a true sculpture at the heart of the apartment, leads to the upper floor. This floor houses a master suite with a dressing room and a shower room with a toilet. Designed as an independent space, this level can be reconfigured as a separate apartment, offering great flexibility of use.

A rare address in the Marais, where the contemporary style of the renovation interacts with the character of the original features, and where every detail contributes to the unique identity of the place.
